The special New Year’s Eve concert celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Gold-certified album that launched Cagle’s career while giving fans an opportunity to welcome 2027 with an evening of chart-topping country hits and unforgettable live entertainment.

Presented as part of a year-long celebration of Play It Loud, the tour honors the album that introduced Cagle to country audiences with the No. 1 hit “I Breathe In, I Breathe Out.” Throughout the evening, fans can expect an energetic performance featuring career-defining favorites including “Chicks Dig It,” “Laredo,” “What A Beautiful Day,” “Miss Me Baby,” “What Kinda Gone,” and many more.

Born in Louisiana and raised in nearby Houston, Cagle has maintained a special connection with Texas audiences throughout his career. The celebration officially began in February 2026 with an exclusive live performance and interview at SiriusXM’s Nashville studios before a live audience, followed by a special broadcast across North America on SiriusXM’s Y2Kountry channel.

Released in 2000, Play It Loud featured the breakout hit “I Breathe In, I Breathe Out” and established Cagle as one of country music’s fastest-rising stars. The anniversary tour revisits the songs that launched his career while celebrating the music that has generated more than 2 billion career streams and continues to resonate with longtime fans and new audiences alike.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Born in De Ridder, Louisiana, and raised in Houston, Texas, Chris Cagle pursued his dream of becoming a country music artist after relocating to Nashville in 1994. While working several jobs to support himself, he earned his first publishing deal, leading to his song “I Breathe In, I Breathe Out” being recorded by David Kersh. Determined to perform his own music, Cagle signed with Virgin Records in 2000 and released Play It Loud, the album that launched his recording career.

The Gold-certified debut produced multiple country hits, including “My Love Goes On & On,” “Laredo,” and his first No. 1 single, “I Breathe In, I Breathe Out.” His self-titled sophomore album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and added fan favorites such as “What A Beautiful Day” and “Chicks Dig It.” Additional hits including “Miss Me Baby,” “What Kinda Gone,” “Got My Country On,” “Let There Be Cowgirls,” and “Country By The Grace Of God” have helped establish Cagle as one of the defining country artists of the 2000s.

Exit either Bellaire Blvd or Fondren Rd, and look for Boxer Property’s two Arena Place dark brown office buildings. Look for the Flags on top of the towers or the Westwood College sign as a visual indicator. Paid parking is available onsite with two covered, multilevel parking garages that connect directly to the theatre without exposure to the weather.
