Two Legends. to Arena Theatre on Saturday, November 28, 2026. This special concert celebrates the continued rise of Southern Soul with an evening of chart-topping hits, feel-good anthems, and the unmistakable energy that has made the genre one of the fastest-growing live music movements in America.

About King George

Known as the “King of Southern Soul,” King George has become one of the genre’s fastest-rising independent artists. Raised in a musical family with a gospel-singing father and choir-director mother, he developed his passion for music at an early age, singing in church before teaching himself to play guitar.

Before emerging as King George, he recorded under the rap name Yung Holliday, releasing independent projects before shifting toward Southern Soul in 2020. His unique blend of classic blues, old-school R&B, gospel influences, and contemporary production quickly resonated with audiences throughout the South.

His breakthrough arrived in 2022 with the viral success of “Keep On Rollin'”, a song that generated tens of millions of streams and transformed him into one of Southern Soul’s biggest touring attractions. About Cupid

Born Bryson Bernard in Lafayette, Louisiana, Cupid is a multi-platinum recording artist, songwriter, entrepreneur, and one of the most recognizable names in modern Southern Soul. Affectionately known as the “Line Dance King,” Cupid built an international career by combining Southern R&B, blues, gospel influences, and infectious dance rhythms into music that brings generations together.

Before becoming a worldwide sensation, Cupid developed his sound throughout Louisiana’s independent music scene while attending the University of Louisiana at Lafayette on a track-and-field scholarship. His early recordings helped establish what he would later define as “Swingout Music,” an energetic blend of Southern Soul and Gulf Coast dance music.

International recognition arrived in 2007 with the release of “Cupid Shuffle,” the multi-platinum global anthem that became a permanent fixture at weddings, family reunions, sporting events, festivals, schools, and celebrations around the world. Arena Theatre is conveniently located on Southwest Freeway between the Galleria and Sugar Land. Exit either Bellaire Blvd or Fondren Rd, and look for Boxer Property’s two Arena Place dark brown office buildings. Look for the Flags on top of the towers or the Westwood College sign as a visual indicator. Paid parking is available onsite with two covered, multilevel parking garages that connect directly to the theatre without exposure to the weather.
