About The Artists

Chester Jermaine “Lyfe” Jennings is an American R&B and soul singer-songwriter, record producer, and instrumentalist. Born on June 3, 1978, in Toledo, Ohio, Jennings developed an early interest in music, performing with his family group, The Dotsons, during his teenage years. However, his musical aspirations were interrupted when he was incarcerated at the age of 14. After serving a ten-year sentence, Jennings returned to music with renewed purpose, releasing a four-song demo just days after his release in December 2002.

Jennings’ debut album, Lyfe 268-192 (2004), named after his inmate number, showcased his raw vocals and socially conscious lyrics, earning critical acclaim and commercial success. The album featured hits like “Must Be Nice” and “S.E.X.,” establishing Jennings as a distinctive voice in R&B. Subsequent albums, including The Phoenix (2006) and Lyfe Change (2008), continued to blend personal narratives with broader societal themes, solidifying his reputation as a “socially minded R&B singer.”

Throughout his career, Jennings has remained committed to authenticity, using his music to explore themes of love, redemption, and social justice. His unique blend of soulful melodies and poignant storytelling continues to resonate with audiences, making him a compelling figure in contemporary R&B.

Donell Jones is an American R&B singer, songwriter, and record producer known for his smooth vocals and heartfelt lyrics. Born on May 22, 1973, in Chicago, Illinois, Jones was influenced by his father, a gospel singer, and began writing songs at the age of 12.  He gained industry attention in the mid-1990s after meeting producer Eddie F, leading to a contract with LaFace Records.

Jones’ debut album, My Heart (1996), introduced his soulful style, but it was his sophomore release, Where I Wanna Be (1999), that catapulted him to fame. The album’s lead single, “U Know What’s Up,” featuring Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, became a global hit, while the title track showcased his emotive songwriting. The album achieved platinum status, affirming Jones’ place in the R&B landscape.

Over the years, Jones has continued to evolve artistically, releasing albums like Life Goes On (2002) and Journey of a Gemini (2006), both of which received critical and commercial success. His music often delves into themes of love, relationships, and personal growth, resonating with fans across generations. Jones’ commitment to authentic storytelling and melodic craftsmanship has solidified his legacy as a mainstay in R&B music.

Jeremy Biddle, known professionally as Yung Bleu, is an American rapper and singer who has rapidly ascended in the music industry with his emotive blend of hip-hop and R&B. Born on April 5, 1994, in Mobile, Alabama, Bleu began rapping at the age of 11, drawing inspiration from artists like Lil Wayne and Nelly.  He gained initial recognition through a series of mixtapes, notably the Investments series, which showcased his melodic sensibilities and lyrical depth.

Bleu’s breakthrough came with the 2020 single “You’re Mines Still,” which gained widespread acclaim after a remix featuring Drake. The track peaked at number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100, propelling Bleu into the mainstream spotlight.  His debut studio album, Moon Boy (2021), featured collaborations with prominent artists such as Chris Brown, 2 Chainz, and H.E.R., further cementing his status in the industry.

In 2022, Bleu released his second studio album, Tantra, which included guest appearances by Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and Ne-Yo, among others. The album showcased his versatility and continued growth as an artist.  With a distinctive voice and a knack for blending genres, Yung Bleu represents a new wave of artists redefining contemporary R&B and hip-hop.

Known for his bold comedic timing and dynamic stage presence, Terry Grossman brings laughter and levity to the stage. As a host, he keeps the energy high and the crowd engaged, making every event feel like a celebration.
